It's Official!

Well everyone, it's official; Jodie and I are engaged. It's kind of an interesting, new feeling, but both of us are really excited. Well, we decided to finally get our blog up and running so that you could see pictures of everything that's been going on for the past little bit. So, to start off, here's some picture of it.

Here's the ring before I gave it to Jodie.

So, to ask her, I had 11 flowers delivered to her at work. Then to find the last flower, she had to go on a treasure hunt that ended at the security booth of the Provo Temple. When we were in the Dominican Republic, the missionaries had a treasure hunt that also ended at the security booth of the temple. After she found her flower, I proposed nearby and she said "yes." : )

It was kind of cold outside; it was lightly snowing. But here we are together after it.

Here are the roses that I gave her and the one that she had to find.

Here's the ring now on Jodie's finger. Its kind of hard to see it clearly, but it has five diamonds on it. 1 main center diamond, then two smaller ones on each side. The diamonds get progressively smaller as it goes outward. Its definitely a lot prettier in person than the pictures depict, so, hopefully you all get to see it soon.
